Easter falls on March 23rd this year and Troop 993 does the set up at Mount Vernon circle for the Easter Sunrise service. We are asked to set up the chairs and hand out flyers.

Scouts are requested to be at the circle at 6:00am in Class A uniform.

Service hours are earned for this time.

Also six Scouts in full uniform have the honor to be part of a wreath laying ceremony at George Washington’s tomb.

After the closing of the Mount Vernon Easter service, Wesley Methodist Church will have a pancake breakfast from 7:00 to 9:00am in the fellowship hall.

All Scouts, Scouters, and Parents  are invited to participate in these events.
