BSA TROOP 993 International Spy Museum

  Summary

            The Scouts of Troop 993 will be visiting the International Spy museum in Washington D.C. Saturday, December 18, 2004.

  Cost

            Admission to the museum is $ 13.00. Please be prepared to pay the Scout Leader in charge Saturday morning before departure  There will be an additional fee for Metro.

  Departure

            The troop will be leaving the Church at 9:00 AM . Scouts, drivers, and guests should arrive at Wesley United Methodist Church on Saturday morning at 8:45AM and check in with the Scout Leader in charge. Scouts and guests will be assigned to vehicles and be transported to the Huntington Metro. All Scouts and guests will ride the Metro to the Spy museum  and gather at the Museum at 9^th and F street.

  Activities

            The troop will tour the museum starting at 11:00AM. It is important to remember the purpose of this event is to give the Scouts an opportunity to explore the museum and have FUN.

            All participants are expected to adhere to the following: 

        The Scout Oath and

        The Scout Law

  Return

            Once the tour is complete, everyone will ride the Metro back to Huntington Station, load up in the vehicles and return back to the Church. Once there, Scouts will call their parents for a ride home.

  Note:

*         Scouts will need money for the Metro and snacks / drinks / souvenirs. 

*         Please have your Scout eat breakfast before arrival at the Church. Drinks and /or snacks should be in a daypack.

*         Lunch will NOT be served on this trip.

*         Scouts should wear a Class A or B Scout Shirt
