Chartered in1958 by the Wesley United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon, Virginia. Proudly serving the community for 50 years!
Our mission is to help our boys become responsible, confident, Godly young men, and to have fun while doing so.
The Scout Oath: "On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my Country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times, to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight."
The Scout Law: "A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent."
Inclement Weather Policy: The current policy is as follows: If school is closed all day, or if school closes early, there is no meeting. Campouts are decided on a case by case basis by the Scoutmaster. If you are unsure of the meeting status, call your patrol leader or the SPL.
